At our local market, I saw first melons and currants and it crossed my mind that I could make a great combo for a fruit salad. I decided to add one more color with kiwi. Therefore.. more colors, more vitamins.

Summer Fruit Salad

If you are reading our blog from the first line, you may have noticed that I love anything that has to do with fruits. Melon and currant are great addition for sure, but you cannot go wrong  choosing to pair kiwi with mixture of orange and bananas. Delicious Summer Salad can be created with seasonal fruits.

Yield: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Refreshing Summer Fruit Salad enriched with melon, orange, kiwi, banana and currant. Drizzled with orange juice and honey.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Melon
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Cup of Currants
  • 1 1/2 Orange - hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 Orange Juice
  • 1 tbsp of Honey

Instructions

  1. Cut the Melon in half and remove the content.
  2. Combine sliced melon, banana, orange, kiwi and currant and place in melon.
  3. Pour orange juice and honey over the top and mix.

Notes

Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
Serve it and Enjoy!
